Magnanimity
The Greatness of Soul
July 9th-10th, 2027 | Canterbury, CT
Don’t miss our 6th annual summer conference
Aristotle called magnanimity the "crown of the virtues"—the greatness of soul that aspires to what is truly noble and refuses to be satisfied with the small, the safe, or the self-serving. For the Christian, this ancient virtue finds its fulfillment in Christ, who calls us to love greatly, sacrifice greatly, and hope greatly.
Join us alongside educators, parents, school leaders, and lifelong learners as we consider how classical Christian education forms men and women who pursue excellence with humility, courage, and joy.
What You Can Expect
Through keynote addresses, interactive workshops, and meaningful conversation, the 2027 NECCE Conference will explore how classical Christian education shapes men and women of magnanimity. Together, we will consider how the liberal arts, great books, and faithful discipleship form souls that pursue truth, goodness, and beauty with humility and courage.

“I have found, both in my own experience and in that of others, a classical education conference is always a great boost—like a super-nutrition energy drink for the mind and soul, helping us to refresh our vision of how to implement a different (and superior!) method of teaching our students today. The New England Consortium of Classical Educators conference is just this kind of conference.
Classical Christian education is more human, richer, focused on the real purpose of education, which should be to learn to love that which should be loved--the good, true, and beautiful. Don’t miss your opportunity to revitalize yourself by attending the New England Consortium of Classical Educators conference. You will, undoubtedly, never regret making it a priority to continue growing in your love and understanding of our great tradition.
