The Lost Tools of Writing: Killer Plots

NECCE book clubs invite readers to slow down, engage great books, and enjoy thoughtful conversation in a welcoming classical Christian community. Each season, we’ll explore timeless works of literature, ask meaningful questions, learn from one another, and cultivate a deeper love for truth, goodness, and beauty. Whether you're a longtime reader or simply looking for rich discussion and fellowship, there's a place for you around the table.

It brings together educators, schools, and life-long learners to explore the intersection of truth, pedagogy, and Christian values within the context of classical education.

Magnanimity

The Greatness of Soul

July 9th-10th, 2027

Aristotle called magnanimity the "crown of the virtues"—the greatness of soul that aspires to what is truly noble and refuses to be satisfied with the small, the safe, and the self-serving. For the Christian, this ancient virtue finds its fulfillment not in pride of accomplishment but in the high calling of Christ, who summons us to love greatly, sacrifice greatly, and hope greatly.
